Double Delicious Cookie Bars
1 stick (half-cup) margarine or butter
1 Package Graham Crackers, crushed (about 1.5 cups)
1 14oz. can sweetened condensed milk
2 C. (12 oz.) Chocolate Chips
1 C. (6 oz.) Peanut Butter Chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees (325 for glass pan). In a 13 X 9 inch pan, melt margarine in the oven. Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs evenly over the margarine; pour milk over the graham cracker crumbs. Top with both types of chips and press down firmly. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until lightly brown on top. Cool; cut into bars. Makes 24-36 bars.

I made these a couple weeks ago, topped with coconut. It's really important to not cut the bars until they're totally cool, I found!

ReplyDeleteI found this recipe a few weeks ago on another site, but it had crushed pretzels instead of the crackers for the crust. I am going to try this version! Makes me think of s'mores. yum!
